Our 2023 CVHBA Scholarship recipients are Mitchell DeVries and Jayden Herrmann, both of Denver, IA. Mitchell is attending UNI for Construction Management. Jayden is attending Hawkeye Community College for Sustainable Construction and Design.

Each recipient received a $1,000 academic scholarship. In addition, Acme Tools- Cedar Rapids, John Guidinger and Jason Steen, also supplied each recipient with a brand new 3pc Milwaukee Packout set.

In addition, Kirk Drew, a 2022 CVHBA Scholarship recipient, has retained employment with a CVHBA member, Woods Construction, for a full year. Therefore, he was awarded with a supplementary DeWalt award package to assist him further in his professional skilled trades career journey.
